At Interphex Japan 2018, Optimal’s regional Application Partner - Quality Design Co Ltd., will demonstrate the material benefits and latest updates for the market leading pharmaceutical production and development platform synTQ.
Interphex Japan is the largest event in Asia for pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing. As such it provides a forum to share experience and ideas, plus discuss the technology developments that will have the largest impact on the industry, hence process analytical technology (PAT) and continuous production will be a popular subject.
Quality Design Co Ltd., based in Osaka, Japan will be reminding potential users that over half of the major pharmaceutical companies worldwide are using synTQ. Designed to help develop and manufacture high-quality pharmaceutical and life-science products using real-time controls in a live process environment, it can be used to reduce development and manufacturing times dramatically.
The other major focus for synTQ and the application of PAT based software working frameworks is quality improvement - live quality predictions derived from multivariate modelling enables both batch and continuous processes to be controlled based on quality to within extremely tight tolerances, and indeed is the main reason why many processes can migrate from batch to continuous processes.
The latest synTQ 5.3 version, which will be showcased at the event, features new features that improve both the user experience and the platform capability with regards to optimising quality. A new real-time Multivariate Statistical Process Control (MSPC) viewer and user-configurable Control Charts for example can be used to detect when a process is moving out of its optimum operating window and act to correct the situation. The exhibition booth will showcase synTQ version 5.3 from a practical point of view, via live instruments running connected to synTQ and demo applications. There will also be live presentations throughout the day on the booth in relation to the application of PAT to both large and small molecule, batch and continuous processes.
Martin Gadsby, Director at Optimal Industrial Technologies, commented: "We are excited to co-exhibit with Quality Design Co Ltd. at Interphex Japan 2018. The event is a perfect opportunity for us to meet new and existing users, as well as discuss the current trends and future developments in PAT. As our customers continue to use synTQ to make continuous production a reality and reap the rewards from rolling out the technology, we are at a really exciting time for the pharma industry."
