Post Sorting System
A leading manufacturer of credit cards had a requirement to sort outbound mail at high speed, and this necessitated the reading of codes that had been applied to each envelope at high speed. For this system we used a Cognex VisionPro application together with customised high level software, the system being configured to read the codes that were being applied to the envelopes. The system was interfaced to the divert chutes of an existing machine, and proved to function effectively.
