About Optimal

Established in 1987, Optimal Industrial Automation is a full-service provider of automation solutions and services, with experience in building, integrating and optimising manufacturing automation systems for challenging and highly regulated industries. We have extensive experience in working across diverse sectors, including food and beverage processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, life-science and other manufacturing industries as well as energy generation and storage.

Our business is focused on the application of high-quality industrial automation and maintaining long-term working relationships with our clients. As the demands being placed on manufacturers in relation to production costs, product quality and business sustainability are ever increasing; our primary aim is to deliver measurable improvements in all these target areas. To address these aspects, Optimal employs a large technical team qualified in software, electrical, electronic, vision and control hardware disciplines.

 

We are based in Westerleigh Business Park, Yate, near Bristol, where we operate from a modern, purpose-built facility that is strategically located near rail and road links. Combining offices and workshops, our premises support our clients and employees with excellent facilities. This space enables us to provide a complete in-house design and build capability covering all automation aspects.

Our sister company, Optimal Industrial Technologies, is the developer of the market-leading, PAT knowledge management solution, synTQ. As such, we are uniquely placed to support the implementation of PAT technology and have experience working with all aspects of a PAT system.
